North West Franklin County Historical Society
North West Franklin County Historical Society (NWFCHS.org) was incorporated in 1966 as a 501.c.3 charitable organization. It’s mission is to “Shelter the Past” by preserving the local history and informing the area residents of the importance of history. The society offers:
- A village made up of 10 historic structures
- Archival repository library of historically significant written material and memorable photographs
- Educational tours to the public
- An Annual festival event depicting life in the 1800’s. A church is available for weddings and worship services.
