Franklin County Agriculture Society
The Franklin County Agriculture Society (FCAS) was organized in 1851. Early county fairs were held at various locations until 1910 when the current FCAS was chartered. The FCAS held its first fair at the Franklin County Fairgrounds in Hilliard in 1918. The fairgrounds consist of 83 acres, a half mile race track, and a grandstand. The Fairgrounds are used year around for the following events:
- Horse Shows and Clinics
- Gun Shows and Sales
- Dog training Classes and Shows
- Car Shows, Auctions, and Motor Cross
- Business Meetings, Training Sessions
- Parties, Weddings Receptions, Dances
- Latino Festivals
- Model Train Events
- Recreational Vehicle Camp-in
- Native American Indian Pow Wow
- Service Organizations
- Standardbred Horse Training Facility
